Mommy & Baby

Here we are in the nursery while Adam is figuring out how to put the crib together. Taylor doesn't like the drilling noises. She is the best little baby. She only cries when she is hungry or dirty. We love her!

Congratulations Adam and Liz!

Everyone is right. She is absolutely beautiful. She even looks like she might be smiling for the camera in the top picture. Thank you so much for letting us all share a quick glimpse of her. We can't wait to hold her in person. Love, Sarah

No more Prego

Liz and Adam,
We are so happy for you! Congratulations. We wish we could come and hold your beautiful baby. Caleb is gone on a trip. I was looking at the pictures lastnight and he was so sad that he couldn't look at them, because all I could say was, "oh my, she is so beautiful Caleb!!! I wish you could see her." But he will when he gets back tomorrow.
We love you and are so glad that all went well. Hope you recover well Liz. You are a champion for going through the c-section.
Much love to the Fullmer Family.
Love, Suzy

GORGEOUS LITTLE GIRL!!!

She is sooooo beautiful! Her eyes and mouth look just like yours - gorgeous! I love her perfect little round head (1 of the few benefits of having a c-section). You're going to be such a great mom! We're so excited for you & Adam! Now the real fun begins! Love - Karri

Caleb, I'm sorry that we missed your call. Did you say that you were going to Bora-Bora?? We miss you and Suzy so much. I hope that everything is going well. I still believe that the Army is hard work, no matter what anyone else says. Take care.

Barefoot & Pregnant - Very Retro!

You look adorable Liz! Your belly looks so fake because you're small everywhere else. Are you sure that's not just a basketball under there? Hope you're keeping your feet up. Hey, tell Adam the key to cut down on too much crying is: swaddle her nice & tight, bland diet for mom, longer feedings, and when all else fails the pacifier is a life saver. Good luck! :) - Love, Karri

YA RIGHT CALEB

The army looks easy sign me up. Video games all day and then I become famous in the paper. "Wow he's good" - Adam

Still Prego...almost here 2 more days

I can't wait it is getting REALLY uncomfortable...I hope I don't take after Eden and have a 10 pounder. I am not as tough as she is. Adam is freaking out. He is scared to bring her home and start to listen to all the crying. :) Love you all very much

Hey Family

Nothing too exciting to pass on. Glad to see Suzy posted a picture of me playing video games on the family website....what can I say....the Army is "hard". I really dont play games for therapy it was a one time thing that I tried out and before I knew it they had my picture and wanted permission to publish an article about it. Whatever. I hope everyone is doing well. Suzy and I miss you all. Overseas is fun, but we wish family was closer.

Congratulations!

Congratulations Eden and Eric! I loved the pictures. He is so cute! I'm glad to hear that everyone is doing well. I hope that Jillian has a wonderful birthday tomorrow. Love to all, Sarah

Too Cute!

Thanks for posting the pictures Wendy! He is adorable!! Now you'll finally have a baby boy to love (I'm jealous). Don't worry about being a grandma, at least you're a young one... I'm going to be old and gray. :) By the way, we survived the typhoon last night. It hit us pretty strong, the windows were shaking and trees were flying. But I don't think anyone besides Sarah knew about it since she was the only one who read our post. :) Just teasing...

To Jillian and Landon

What a precious sweet baby Landon!!! We're glad you arrived safely. So sweet and Darling, Darling!!
Jillian--How are you doing? What do you think of being an aunt? And did you break your pinkie too, like Uncle Caleb? I saw in the picture you "buddie-taped" your fingers together. I hope you have fun in school. Soon I will be back to school teaching kids your age. I too, like your mom am in school. It is lots of work. Tell your whole family that we love them and miss them -Aunt Suzy

hey family

Hi family, i just wanted everyone to know eden and eric had a baby boy on sunday september 2, after 14 hours of labor. she did great. landen lane salas weighed nine pounds tweleve ounces, and twenty-two inches long. he passed caleb's weight of nine po. ten ounces, sorry caleb. eden's doing great and enjoying motherhood. eric is a great dad and lots of help to eden. i'm not liking the name "grandma" at my age of (37). so i've decided the baby can call me nana or mommie 2. well i'm clear up to my eyeballs in school work. i'm taking 16 units this semester, chemistry, anthropology, humanities, psychlogy. it's going to be a long hard semester. jillian is enjoying first grade and can't wait for her b-day in a couple days (the 8th) she's having a friend party at the park. jared is looking for work and trying to pursue a buisness idea he has, (pray for him) well here's some pictures of landen. talk to you all soon, love wendy

Caleb made the second page of the local Newspaper...Stars and Stripes!!

Just wanted everyone to know how cool my husband is. Therapy playing a video game for his pinkie.
Love to all. We pray always for you and Dad, Mom-As well as for the rest of our wonderful family.

Grandparents In Boise

I am at Liz's today helping with some sewing and cake decorating. Just learned of Mike christensens grandson. So sad to hear the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. It is always the most difficult when a young person dies. We were so sorry to hear such news. I don't know if I have much time to do this blog thing, but it is fun to read about all of you. Yesterday Dad told Mike Heinz we were moving out and he wasn't too happy. I have the whole house torn up with packing, canning, and sewing project for a humanitarian project. Well this morning he calls and wants to come by for some pictures of the house to put it on the market. I took a dolly and started moving everything out of every room and putting it into the garage. What a tornado. I had a mess everywhere. Well, the house looks great now, and I'm over at Liz's helping her. The garage is a disaster! When I get back home I will go to the garage and start packing again. Loose stuff everywhere. Did I say I hate moving. I hope to get hired at Wells with Dad. Not sure yet. We are tired of being in such debt and hope we can find jobs to help us out of our mess, along with our move. It doesn't look like we can make a trip to Germany this year, or anywhere else for that fact. Didn't like hearing about the terrorists at your base either. Al-kida Germans, what is that? Could you work off base too? We sure love you Suzy and we are so sorry for your loss. Love, Mom and Dad

Welcome Baby! Kindergarten! Typhoon!

Thanks to everyone for updating us. Wendy and Eden we look forward to hearing about baby Landon! Did I get his name right? I'm sure he's a handsome little guy. Caleb, it looks like you're now the world traveler - 6 countries in 2.5 weeks? Way to go! What part of Austria were you in? Did you get to see Vienna? That's so cool that you all camped at the base of the Alps! Did you see the bears in Bern? I loved the picture of you two in front of the temple. Suzy - I'm so sorry, we will pray for the Christensen family. I'm extra cautious now with my girls around cars on base since we walk Marissa to and from school. Speaking of which, I promised I would post pictures of our cutie's first day of kindergarten (Tuesday). She loves her teacher Mrs. Rose and was mesmerized by her singing a welcome song with a toy xylophone (see photo). We met her last week during a "home visit". All the kindergarten teachers visit their students at home the week before school starts to make the kids feel more comfortable and talk with parents. It's a good school, and the best thing is that it's only 2 blocks away. Sean was able to walk with us since he doesn't have to be into work until 8AM now (what a slacker!) No, life is so much better with all of us eating breakfast and dinner together. It's still kind of surreal being a normal family. I better end it here... I just wanted to get this posted before tomorrow. We may lose our power and/or internet because a huge typhoon is suppose to hit our base. They even told Sean not to come into the hospital, and the school is closed. Good thing we're on the 9th floor! No worries.. PS - Lizzy I absolutely LOVE that name. Taylor sounds so classy yet cool at the same time! We're glad that Mom & Dad are doing well. Thanks for keeping us posted!

WhazzUpp?

Hi everyone. I'm still here too but don't have anything exciting to tell. No baby yet. I'm 9 days away from my due date! I feel like a blimp! I think we have decided on the name, Taylor Elizabeth Fullmer. Suzy, I am so sorry to hear about the Christensen boy. We will be praying for their family. I can't imagine how hard that would be to lose a family member so suddenly. We are very fortunate in our family. Adam just moved the office home. We now have internet at home! Today was his first official working day out of our little office. It was fun to have him here all day. We think he will stay here until he finishes his apprenticeship and then he will join forces with one of his buddy's. We tried to go skiing tonight with some friends but a huge storm hit and we had to turn around. That's all that is new with us. Mom and Dad are doing great. They are so excited to be moving into their new place next month. They were able to get their car sold in less than a week! Everything is going really great. The Lord is blessing them with a lot of opportunities. Thanks for all your help! Wendy, congratulations on being a Grandma! And congratulations to mom for being a Great-Grandma! Life is pretty exciting right now for everyone!

Hooray!

I'm so glad to start hearing from everyone again. Karri, thanks for the McDonalds ad, we got a real kick out of it. We will be looking forward to pictures from Marissa's first day. Suzy, thank you for the beautiful pictures from your trip. It sounds like so much fun! We love feeling like we are in the "loop" with all our families. Love you all so much!

Liz, I'm learning how to post photos too... only my blog is in German

Dutschland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, & Liechtenstein

From that list you can tell that we had a wonderful trip with my brother Wil. Six countries in 2.5 weeks. Must have been nice for Wil to have a great trip with great company. Luxembourg we visited the US National Cemetary for WWII & the Nazi cemetary. Belgium, we visited a museum at the Battle of the Bulge site...Amazing and only 2 hours away from home. It was one of my favorite trips so far.
We just returned from Switzerland where we were able to make it for a baptism session in the Bern, Switzerland temple. Afterwards we had lunch in a nearby park and rested for a bit. Then drove over to a small farm village (I'm guessing my ancestors) called Bangerten. (Bangerter is my maiden name) cows with cowbells, farmers, dairys and beautiful flowers so quaint and neat to be there. Found a sign that said "Wil Bangerter" which was the highlight of the trip for him. From there we drove to the Swiss Alps where we camped two nights right near the river. We rode bikes for two days straight and loved being at the foot of the beautiful Alps. had wonderful weather and a clean spot for showering. Sunday we took off to a lake that borders Germany, Austria, and Switzerland called Bodensee. On our way there we stopped and ate lunch in the country of Lichetenstein. It is possibly the smallest country in the world, not many people know where it is. We continued on to the Germany side of the world where we felt like we could finally communicate with the Germans. We should give ourselves more credit in speaking the language than we do. Feels good to communicate, or feel like you can a bit.
We camped on the lakeshore for one night and headed home the Monday.
When we arrived home we learned of a terrible accident of our friend. Mike Christensen's grandson, Tucker Christensen (11 years) was killed riding his 4-wheeler across Highway 45 when he was hit by a van. Our thoughts, concerns and prayers have been with the Christensen family since yesterday. More prayers would be appreciated in their behaf. Tucker was the little boy, when I was working on the farm who would hide in the cornfields and throw dirt clods at me when I was running around on the farm checking water and such. I have known him eversince he was a baby. He is the oldest of seven children. A fun and happy kid. He will be missed greatly.
We love our family and know that we are blessed to have the opportunity to be together forever. Life is precious. Be careful and stay close to your families and little children. We are so blessed as a big family.
Love to All, Suzy

Calling All Losers (Caleb & Liz Where R U?)

Sarah, thanks for posting the cute pics. Ellie looks just like Molly with her hair curly - beautiful! I thought of you and Andy after our little earthquake last night. Remember at your apartment in LA when there were 2 in a row? I ran into your bedroom and woke you up saying.. "SARAH, DID YOU FEEL THAT EARTHQUAKE?" your reply.. "Yeah, go back to bed." Not fazed at all. That was us last night. Okay, now it's someone else's turn. I'll leave you with a funny picture. An advertisement I saw on a train here for their McDonald's new "McPork burger!" Gee, doesn't that sound yummy? :)

Are we still communicating??

Hi Everyone,

If you have been checking the blog looking for new posts, then you are not alone. I think it's just about everyone's turn to give us a little update. As far as news from the Weir's........Jacob started his first golf lesson today and really enjoyed it. He will be taking lessons every Saturday for the next 6 weeks. In October I have signed him up for beginning horseback riding lessons. I think the combination of being in control of the horse and using it as a form of transportation will be right up his alley. Ellie will begin her dance lessons, 2 times a week after school, next week. She will be taking Ballet Techniques and a Ballet/Jazz combo. I thought I would include a few pictures from Ellie's 5th birthday party. We had it at Bounce U, a fun indoor jumping place with lots of activities for kids. She loved it and said as we were walking to the car, "that was my best birthday, ever!" She invited about 20 kids and they all showed. We have been getting a kick out of one of Ben's favorite questions when he points to something and says, "What dis dooze, Mom?" He wants to know how everything works. Andy and I are celebrating our 12 year anniversary this weekend! We look forward to hearing from anyone, anyone, Bueller, sometime again.
